Doctor at home in Mumbai

A doctor at your door in 60 minutes.

A registered MBBS doctor comes to your flat, examines the patient properly, and writes the prescription there and then. If tests, a drip or a nurse are needed, Healkin does those at home too — so nobody sits in a waiting room.

How do you want to see the doctor? *

We use your number only to arrange this consultation. This is not an emergency service — for chest pain, breathlessness or an unconscious patient, go to a hospital.

What it costs, in full

One fee for the consultation, fixed by where you are. No travel charge, no after-hours charge, nothing added at the door.

Somewhere else in Mumbai? Send the form — we will tell you on the call whether we can reach you, and what it would cost.

What the fee covers
  • The doctor's travel and the consultation itself
  • A full physical examination — vitals, blood pressure, oxygen saturation
  • A written prescription, and a note for your regular doctor if you need one
  • Advice on what to do next, and what would need a hospital
What it does not
  • Medicines, injections and IV fluids, billed at actuals
  • Lab tests, X-rays and ECGs, quoted separately
  • Nursing visits and procedures the doctor arranges for later
  • Anything that needs a hospital or an emergency room

Your exact total is confirmed by the Care Team on the call, before anything is scheduled. Payment is taken after the consultation, not before.

When people call a doctor home

Pick the one closest to your situation and it goes on the form. You can explain the rest on the call.

Fever that will not settle

Three days of fever, chills or body ache, and you want it looked at before it turns into a hospital trip.

An elderly parent who cannot travel

Bedridden, frail, or simply too unsteady for a clinic waiting room. The examination happens where they already are.

After a discharge or an operation

A wound that looks wrong, a stitch line to review, or the first follow-up nobody wants to travel for.

Blood pressure or diabetes review

A routine review of a long-standing condition, with the medicines you are actually taking laid out on the table.

Stomach upset, vomiting or dehydration

Food poisoning, loose motions or a child who is not keeping fluids down — assessed at home, with a drip arranged if it is needed.

Breathlessness or a bad cough

Asthma flaring, a chest infection, or wheezing that has not improved on what the chemist suggested.

A fall, a sprain or an injury

Someone slipped at home. The doctor examines it and tells you whether an X-ray is warranted — which we can also do at home.

A second opinion on a prescription

You have a report or a prescription you do not understand and want a doctor to sit with you and go through it.

How a home visit works

01

Send the form. Tell us whether you want the doctor at home or online, and where you are. Our Care Team calls you back within 5 minutes to confirm the slot and the exact fee.

02

The doctor sets off. For a home visit in the areas we cover, the doctor is usually at your door within 60 minutes of that call. For an online consultation, we send you the link straight away.

03

You get a plan, not just a visit. The doctor examines, explains and writes the prescription. If tests, a drip or a nurse are needed, the Care Team arranges them at home on the same thread.

What you are actually paying for

Registered doctors, not a call centre

Every doctor on the panel is MBBS-qualified with a valid state medical council registration, and is verified by us before a single visit. You are told who is coming before they arrive.

An examination that actually happens

Vitals, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, a proper look at the complaint — done in front of you, with the doctor's bag open on the floor. Not a two-minute prescription written at the door.

Everything else follows from one call

If the doctor orders bloods, an X-ray, a drip or a nurse, you do not start again somewhere else. Healkin does all of it at home, and the Care Team books it while the doctor is still with you.

Questions, answered

Is the 60 minutes a guarantee?
It is what we aim for, and what most home visits in Lower Parel, Prabhadevi and Worli, Bandra and South Mumbai achieve between 8am and 9pm. The Care Team gives you a realistic arrival time on the confirmation call, before anything is booked — traffic and time of day are the two things that move it.
Which areas do you cover?
Home visits are ₹2,500 in Lower Parel, Prabhadevi and Worli, and ₹3,000 in Bandra and South Mumbai. If you are elsewhere in Mumbai, send the form anyway — we will tell you honestly on the call whether we can reach you and what it would cost. Online consultations are available anywhere.
What qualifications do the doctors have?
All are MBBS-qualified general physicians with a current state medical council registration, verified by Healkin. For a specialist opinion, the doctor will tell you which specialty you need and we can help you arrange it.
Is this for emergencies?
No. If someone has chest pain, is unconscious, is struggling to breathe, is bleeding heavily or has had a seizure, call an ambulance and go to a hospital. A home visit is for illness that needs a doctor today, not for an emergency.
Can the doctor prescribe medicines and order tests?
Yes. You get a written prescription at the end of the visit, and the doctor can order blood tests, an X-ray, an ECG or a drip — all of which Healkin does at home. Those are quoted and billed separately from the consultation fee.
What does the online consultation cover?
₹500 for a video consultation with a Healkin doctor, including a prescription where one is appropriate. It suits follow-ups, reviewing reports and deciding whether a physical examination is needed at all — and if the doctor says it is, we arrange the home visit.
How do I pay?
After the consultation, not before. The Care Team confirms your exact total on the call, and nothing is charged until the doctor has seen you.
