GLP-1 injections at home in Mumbai

The weekly injection, given by a nurse, at home.

A verified Healkin nurse comes to you, checks the pen and the dose against your doctor’s prescription, gives the injection and takes the sharps away. We administer what your doctor has prescribed — we do not prescribe it, and we do not sell a weight-loss plan alongside it.

₹548+per visit — the nurse, the sterile kit and sharps disposal. The medicine is billed separately if we source it.

What the price covers
  • The nurse's visit and the injection, given by sterile technique
  • A check of the medicine, dose, interval and expiry against your prescription
  • A cold-chain check on the pen before anything is given
  • Needles, alcohol swabs, gauze and gloves
  • Observation afterwards, plain after-care advice, and the sharps carried out of your home
What it does not
  • The GLP-1 pen itself, if you ask us to source it
  • A doctor's consultation, in person or online
  • Blood tests, weight management planning or dietary advice
  • Deciding whether you should be on it, or moving you up a dose — that is your doctor's call

Later evening slots are priced higher. A course booked ahead is quoted as a block on the call. Your exact total is confirmed before anything is scheduled, and nothing is charged before then.

What we come for

Your doctor decides the medicine, the dose and the interval. We handle getting it given safely, at home, on the dates you were given.

Your first dose

The one most people would rather not do alone. The nurse checks the pen and the prescription, gives the injection, and stays a while afterwards to see how you are — which is the whole reason to have someone there for the first one.

One visit, with observation

A weekly injection

You are already on it and would rather not do the weekly injection yourself, or would rather it was done properly and on time. Same day each week, at home.

One visit a week

A course booked ahead

Several weeks of visits blocked in one go against the dates your doctor set, so nothing has to be arranged again each week and no dose quietly slips by four days.

Several visits, booked together

Teach me to do it myself

A nurse takes you through the pen, the site, the rotation and the sharps until you are confident doing it alone. We would rather you needed us less, and most people are self-injecting inside a few visits.

One or two visits
This is a prescription medicine, and the rules are not a formality

A GLP-1 is not something to start on a friend’s recommendation, share a pen for, or buy from a seller who does not ask for a prescription. It is not suitable for everyone, and who it suits is a decision that needs your history and a doctor. If severe abdominal pain that goes through to your back, persistent vomiting, or swelling of the face, lips or throat and difficulty breathing follow a dose, treat it as an emergency: call 108 or get to the nearest emergency room.

How a visit works

01

Book now. Send the form with the visit you need and where you are with the prescription. Our Care Team calls you back within 5 minutes.

02

We settle the prescription and the pen. Send the prescription over WhatsApp, or ask the Care Team to arrange a teleconsultation with an empanelled doctor — the visit follows from that, never before it. On the same call we agree whether you keep the pen at home or we bring it.

03

A nurse gives it at home. The nurse checks the medicine, dose and interval against the prescription, confirms the pen has been stored cold, gives the injection, waits with you and takes the sharps away.

Why have a nurse do it

We administer, we do not prescribe

Nobody at Healkin decides you should be on a GLP-1, starts you on one, or moves you up a step. The nurse reads the medicine, the dose and the interval off your prescription every single visit and gives exactly that. If you have no prescription, we arrange a doctor — we do not work around it.

The cold chain is checked, not assumed

These pens are refrigerated medicines and they are ruined quietly rather than visibly. The nurse asks how yours has been kept and will not give a pen that has been frozen, left out, or whose storage nobody can account for. That is an uncomfortable conversation to have with a customer and it is the right one.

Sharps leave with us

Used needles go into a sealed sharps container and out of your home for biomedical disposal, rather than into a kitchen bin — which is where a self-administered weekly injection usually ends up.

Questions, answered

Do I need a prescription?
Yes, without exception. A GLP-1 is a prescription medicine and a nurse cannot administer one without a valid prescription naming the medicine, the dose and the interval. If you do not have one, the Care Team can arrange a teleconsultation with an empanelled doctor, and the visit follows from that rather than the other way round.
Do you supply the medicine?
Either way works. Keep the pen your pharmacy dispensed at home, or ask the Care Team to source it — in that case it is billed at actuals on top of the visit fee. Tell us on the call, because it changes what the nurse carries and how the cold chain is handled.
How is it stored before the visit?
In your fridge, not the freezer, and not in the door where the temperature swings each time it is opened. An unopened pen stays refrigerated until it is first used. If the pen has been left out, frozen, or you are not sure, tell the nurse — a pen that has lost its cold chain is not given, and that judgement is not one to make yourself.
Does the nurse decide my dose?
No. The nurse reads the medicine, the dose and the interval off your prescription and gives exactly that. Nobody at Healkin starts you on a GLP-1, moves you up a step, or tells you when the next one is due. If you think the dose needs changing, that is a conversation with the doctor who prescribed it, and we can arrange it.
Can you come every week?
Yes, and a course can be blocked in one go so the dates are already in the calendar rather than arranged each week. Tell the Care Team the day and the rough time that suits and we hold it. Many people also learn to self-inject after the first few visits, and the nurse will teach you if you want that — we would rather you needed us less.
What if I feel sick afterwards?
Nausea, a full feeling and a slower appetite are common in the first weeks and usually settle. Severe or persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain that goes through to your back, or signs of a serious allergic reaction are not something to wait out — call your doctor, and for the severe ones go to an emergency room. The nurse waits with you after the first dose and shares what to watch for before leaving.
Is this a weight-loss programme?
No. Healkin gives an injection that a doctor has prescribed and nothing else — we do not run a weight-loss plan, set targets, sell a diet or promise a result. What the medicine is for, whether it suits you, and how long you stay on it are all your doctor's call.
Is the price on this page the final price?
Visits start at ₹548+, which covers the nurse, the sterile kit, safe sharps disposal and the observation afterwards. The medicine is extra if we source it, and later evening slots are priced higher. The Care Team confirms your exact total on the call, before anything is scheduled.
