How a vaccination visit works

01

Tell us the vaccine. Send the form and a Healkin coordinator calls you back the same day, 8am to 9pm.

02

Confirm the slot. We check your prescription, arrange the vaccine where you need us to, and lock a time that suits your household.

03

Get vaccinated at home. A verified nurse arrives with the vaccine in a cold-chain carrier, administers it, waits out the observation period and disposes of the sharps.

What a nurse at your door is actually responsible for

Cold chain, end to end

Vaccines are carried at 2–8°C in a temperature-controlled box and never frozen. If the chain breaks, the dose does not get given.

Verified nurses only

Every nurse is background-checked, trained on injection protocol, and equipped to manage an immediate reaction.

Sharps leave with us

Needles and used materials go into a sealed sharps container and out of your home for biomedical disposal.

Questions, answered

Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Vaccines are prescription medicines, so we need a valid prescription from your doctor before a nurse can administer one. If you do not have one, our coordinator can arrange a teleconsultation with an empanelled doctor.
Who arranges the vaccine itself?
Either way works. You can keep the vaccine ready at home, or ask the coordinator to source it for you — in that case the vaccine is billed at actuals on top of the visit fee.
Can I book for a parent or an elderly relative?
Yes, and most of our vaccination visits are exactly that. Put your own number on the form so we call you, and share the patient's details on the call.
What if I have a cold or fever on the day?
Tell the coordinator. A mild cold is usually fine, but for a fever we will move your slot rather than vaccinate — there is no charge for rescheduling.
